Chiefs secure victory as Falcons miss key opportunities to seize the lead in the closing moments of the fourth quarter.

The Kansas City Chiefs kept their perfect season going with a nail-biting win against the Atlanta Falcons, finishing the game 22-17.

Late in the game, Atlanta was down by five points and had a couple of chances to score but couldn’t get it done. Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw two passes that missed the mark in the end zone, and running back Bijan Robinson lost three yards on a crucial play, which hurt their chances.chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes played well, throwing two touchdowns despite one interception. Rashee Rice had an impressive game with 12 catches for 110 yards and one touchdown.In another game, the Seattle Seahawks, under new coach Mike Macdonald, beat the Miami Dolphins, extending their lead in the division. They won decisively with a score of 24-3 at their home turf, Lumen Field. Zach Charbonnet scored two touchdowns, while Geno Smith threw for 289 yards, including a 71-yard touchdown pass to DK Metcalf.

 

During the game, Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson hurt his ribs in the second half, which forced Tim Boyle to step in and try to close the gap when the team was down 17-3.

Miami had a chance to score in the fourth quarter but instead gave the ball away after failing to convert on fourth down.

On the other hand, the Minnesota Vikings had a fantastic game against the Houston Texans, winning big with a score of 34-7. Quarterback Sam Darnold had a standout performance, throwing four touchdown passes, matching his career high. Meanwhile, the Vikings’ defense was strong, sacking Texans QB CJ Stroud four times.
